Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is left on Mars after his crew (Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara and Michael Peña) quickly flees from a fierce storm. With only meager supplies, Watney must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to find a way to signal home.
