Greenfield Park, Thursday October 22, 1998 Cinemas Guzzo opens its all-new MEGA-PLEX® TASCHEREAU 18 to the general public next Friday October 23, 1998. To this day, this Mega-Plex is the largest 100,000-sq. ft. area movie theatre complex in Canada. MEGA-PLEX® TASCHEREAU 18, comprises eighteen movie theatres furnished with the famous "Club Guzzo 23" seats with cup holders entirely made in Quebec and created by Mr. Angelo Guzzo, President of Cinemas Guzzo. This movie theatre complex features 4,265 seats arranged in a stadium seating disposition offering movie enthusiasts the best possible view. Projections are of a highly sophisticated technical nature never before seen in Quebec! Therefore, viewers can enjoy the utmost special effects presented in Dolby Digital, SDDS Digital and DTS Digital audio equipment. The movies are projected on giant floating screens that are curved thus eliminating hazy areas at both sides of the screen and offering a better picture.
